Ethiopian Essence
Blueberry, wine, and a finish that changes everything you know about coffee.
About This Coffee
If you have never had an Ethiopian natural-process coffee, this will recalibrate your expectations. Natural processing means the cherry fruit dries around the bean before removal, infusing it with a sweetness and complexity that washed coffees simply cannot match. This is coffee that tastes like fruit — not fruity-flavored, but genuinely reminiscent of blueberry and wine.
The cup is medium-bodied with a jam-like sweetness and a floral aroma that fills the room before you take the first sip. The finish is long, clean, and slightly wine-like. It is polarizing in the best way: people either fall in love immediately or need a second cup to understand what just happened. Either way, they come back.
Origin: Ethiopia | Process: Natural | Roast: Medium | Notes: Blueberry, wine, jasmine, dark chocolate | Body: Medium
Not Sure?
If your first bag doesn't change how you think about coffee, we'll make it right. Different roast, a refund, or a conversation about what you actually like — we don't let a bad first experience end the relationship.
