Formed in 2014 by 25 small producers in the Casitas District, CAFESCOR has blossomed into a cooperative with over 131 partners, cultivating more than 400 hectares of land. With facilities in the communities of Las Casitas and Jimilile, their commitment to quality and sustainable practices shines through in the bright acidity, smooth body, and delightful notes of grapefruit and milk chocolate of their coffee.
Not far behind, the 1500 members of Cafe Organics Marcala contribute their expertise and the fruits of their labor, adding layers of caramel, spice, and brown sugar to the coffee’s profile. Together, these cooperatives stand as beacons of organic and Fair Trade principles, showcasing the potential of collective effort and shared knowledge.
Our Honduran Sunrise Coffee is not just a beverage; it’s a medium-dark roast marvel that carries the soul of Honduras. Sourced from varietals like Caturra, Red and Yellow Catuai, Bourbon, and Lempira, grown at altitudes of 1,300 to 1,700 meters on clay mineral soils, this coffee undergoes a meticulous process of being fully washed and sun-dried.
